Part‑time Instructor – Videography (Jumpstart)

Position held by the College of Southern Nevada for teaching Videography/Film classes under the CSN Jumpstart Concurrent Enrollment Program in high schools.

• Teach Videography/Film courses and develop course syllabi and materials.
• Assess and evaluate student mastery of course skills and competencies.

• Pre‑approval by the Media Technologies Department – Videography and Early College Programs Office before applying.
• Minimum of five (5) years of industry experience in Videography/Film.
• Proficiency in teaching or using Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Videography, Film, or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching Videography/Film classes.
• Knowledge of Final Cut Pro X.

$1,000.00 per class per semester.

• No travel reimbursement is provided.
• Teaching assignments and course load are contingent upon student enrollment and department needs; no minimum course load is guaranteed.
• Position does not guarantee continued or future employment.
