Job Description Responsibilities of a part time Automotive Technology Instructor include but are not limited to:
- Lecture and Lab instruction for Automotive courses
- Courses range from Introduction to Automotive Maintenance to Advanced Diagnostics
- Provide Lab Safety Training
- Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
- Provide advisement to students
- Some program and or curriculum development may be requested
- Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested
- Automotive courses are taught at the North Las Vegas Campus, in‑person and are scheduled during the day, evening, and weekend

Required Qualifications- Current ASE certifications
- 5 years of experience as a Technician in Automotive Industry
- Associate of Applied Science Degree in Automotive Technologies
- G1 Auto Maintenance and Light Repair
- Knowledge of computer classroom technologies
- Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce
- Knowledge in Canvas or other Learning Management Systems
Salary Infomation: $925.00 per lecture credit hour. Credits will vary by semester.
Schedule:Automotive Classes are Scheduled in Mornings, Afternoons, and Evenings, in accelerated 5 week sessions, 8 week sessions, and traditional 16 week sessions.
