  • Perform document reviews, comment resolution, and finalization of FRD/PRS packages.
  • Support coordination across mechanical, civil, electrical, fire protection, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Participate in project meetings and reviews, including occasional on-site engagements as required.
Education Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Federal (including DOE Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering.
  • Experience with building systems and utilities, including some combination of HVAC, plumbing, process piping, industrial exhaust, or facility equipment systems.
  • Proven ability to work independently and coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • Strong technical writing, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Nevada Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain through state reciprocity.
  • Prior experience supporting DOE, NNSA, national laboratory, or other highly regulated federal facilities.
  • Familiarity with fire protection system interfaces and coordination with fire protection engineering requirements.
  • Experience supporting front-end project definition, conceptual design, or early project planning phases.
  • Familiarity with Micro Station or similar CAD tools for conceptual layouts and visualizations.
