JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.

JOB DUTIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS An Engineer IV serves as a technical advisor responsible for a broad program involving development, budgeting, scheduling, project management, and installation of systems. Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties:
Perform in a supervisor role for engineers involved in the development, testing, integration, and sustainment of specialized and diverse software, electronic, and/or mechanical equipment, and systems Determine test objectives, instrumentation, and data requirements Write test planning documents, schedule program activities, track funding and expenditures, plan and conduct test missions, analyze resultant data, document results in test reports, statistical evaluations and briefing presentations Direct interface with internal and external customers at all levels from quotation to final design Act as liaison for test activities, design reviews, and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications Generate complete design specifications for more complex projects Coordinate and work closely with other engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines to define system specifications and requirements Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures Prepare, deliver, and submit technical papers and perform engineering studies Support development of technical proposals and provide comments on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work Act as a company/industry expert resource on the most complex engineering problems Maintain technical project responsibility for assigned tasks and advise management of progress in support of the technical and administrative direction of project operations Conduct site visits and experimental investigations and analyze engineering problems, propose solutions and alternatives, and provide recommendations Develop, interpret, and implement technical and administrative operating policies and procedures Perform other job-related duties, as required RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team in support of the United States Air Force's Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) program.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, setting up test environments, implementing data instrumentation and collection plans, and operating control room equipment and simulators as needed within the context of the JSE. The primary focus of this role is on Fighter Aircraft simulation, making a background in aerospace engineering or military modeling and simulation highly beneficial. Provide simulation support for the Joint Simulation Environment project at Nellis AFB, building simulations to support USAF operational test and training missions. Perform control room functions, including role-playing for constructive air assets, to support test and training exercises. Assist in developing test planning, test conduct, test processes, test reports, operational procedures, data deliverables, and safety packages. SIMULATION SUPPORT:
Configure the battle space, perform post-test reconfigurations, and prepare the virtual environment with customer-defined threat laydowns.
