Description
Administer policies relating to all areas of casino floor, and food and beverage operations. Achieve company objectives in customer service, quality of service, and appearance of facility through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
Requirements
- Ensure all guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
- Control cash handling in the cage and on the casino floor by adhering to reconciliation procedures in accordance with gaming and casino policies.
- Fill in where needed to maintain guest service standards and efficient operations.
- Inspect machines and equipment on the gaming floor to ensure cleanliness and excellent working condition.
- Assist in implementing casino marketing, advertising, and promotional activities and campaigns.
- Understand and ensure compliance with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations related to health, safety, labor, and gaming requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of all relevant information concerning guests, employees, and company assets.
- Understand the operation of the alarm system.
- Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports with Security and Human Resources.
- Assist with assigning employees' work duties and tasks.
- Ensure adequate staffing coverage on the casino floor and in Food and Beverage as needed; make fair and consistent decisions regarding sending employees home early based on business needs.
- Participate in employment decisions as needed.
- Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of casino relations.
- Be knowledgeable of casino employment policies and assist in administering prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.
- Address complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Attend meetings and training as required
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cashier experience in a casino environment preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English
- Excellent math skills; ability to calculate money accurately
- Ability to obtain and maintain Gaming Registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
- TAM card
- Southern NV Health Card
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Reaching, bending, stretching, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a noisy, smoky, loud casino environment
- Ability to work in a small, confined office setting
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Strong customer service skills
