Client Relationship Consultant – Responsibilities
Builds relationships with customers through in‑person, appointment, and virtual channels; obtains and processes customer data; educates clients on deposit and loan products; recommends solutions; proactively engages to identify new and existing customer needs; maintains knowledge of banking products and digital services; processes basic transactions; opens new accounts and submits credit applications; collaborates with branch team members; leverages technology to optimize client experience and ensure operational excellence.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically a minimum of 4–5 years of job‑related, retail banking experience or equivalent training.
Requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Must complete criminal background and credit check.
Preferred Skills & Experience- Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach.
- Strong engagement and communication skills with clients.
- Comprehensive knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
- In‑depth knowledge of all retail banking products and services.
- Customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience participating in sales campaigns and promotions.
- Proficiency with digital products and self‑service technologies.
- Ability to identify customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
