Talent Manager
Transdev in North Las Vegas, Nevada is hiring a Human Resources Generalist for our Paratransit location. The Human Resources Generalist supports the management team with full cycle recruiting and other HR-related responsibilities. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.
Compensation- Competitive compensation package of minimum $66,000 – maximum $70,000
- Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
- Sick days: 5 days
- Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating
- Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.
- Full-cycle recruiting for drivers and staff: review applications, schedule and conduct interviews, and manage hiring through Jobvite.
- Prepare and maintain employee files, including new hire EEO/AAP and onboarding documentation.
- Manage payroll, leaves of absence, and FMLA tracking for assigned employees.
- Educate employees on benefits and HR policies.
- Ensure compliance with background checks, drug/alcohol screens, and E-Verify.
- Support internal and external employee transfers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
- Knowledge of HR strategies and practices, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to draft professional correspondence and present information effectively to employees, managers, and leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and Applicant Tracking Systems (Jobvite preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexible and customer-service oriented, committed to supporting employees and passengers in a professional manner.
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable (per 49 CFR Part 40; Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, are prohibited).
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
- Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
- Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
- Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
