This role involves monitoring security systems, triaging alerts, investigating security incidents, and coordinating efforts to contain and eradicate threats. The position requires a strong understanding of network and system security, proficiency with cybersecurity tools, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Education & Certification Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. No specific certifications are mandated.
Clearance Requirements
  • Candidates must obtain or already hold a Q/Top-Secret clearance.
On-site & Shift/Schedule Requirements
  • This role is fully on-site in Las Vegas.
  • The initial shift will be Monday-Friday from 6 am to 2 pm for at least the first 30 days. Candidates must be comfortable with all shifts, including Sunday-Wednesday, Wednesday-Saturday, and overnight shifts, as placement may vary.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor security systems and triage alerts.
  • Investigate security incidents and determine scope.
  • Coordinate with other teams to contain and eradicate threats and conduct post-incident analysis and generate reports.
  • Maintain attention to detail throughout security operations.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in security operations or related cybersecurity roles.
  • Strong understanding of network and system security concepts.
  • Proficiency with cybersecurity tools and platforms.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-pressure environments.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with cybersecurity incident response.
  • Knowledge of government security protocols.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security monitoring tools.
