A Folder Gluer Operator sets up, operates, and maintains machinery that folds, glues, and finishes paperboard packaging to meet quality and production standards
. Key duties include adjusting feeders, glue systems, and folding stations, troubleshooting machine issues, ensuring accurate, high-speed production, and maintaining a safe, clean work area.

• Machine Setup (Make-Ready): Configure the folder-gluer for different types of die cut forms (2 and 3 panel) based on job specifications.
• Operations: Run machinery at capacity while minimizing waste of glue and sheet stock.
• Quality Control: Monitor production, checking for proper folding, glue application, and affixing defects.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Documentation: Complete production reports, data logs, and maintenance records.
• Safety: Adhere to safety, sanitation, and GMP standards.

• Experience: Previous experience operating folder-gluer equipment (e.g., Signature, Bobst, etc ) is typically required.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to troubleshoot equipment and make minor to medium repairs
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40-50 lbs.

• Standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting heavy boxes of product.
• Working in a manufacturing environment with moderate to semi-high noise levels.
