CNC Machinist Lathe​/Mill

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC setup and operation, with a firm command of G code and M code programming. You will be responsible for producing high quality parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills and lathes, ensuring all components meet our rigorous aerospace grade specifications.

• Setup, load, and operate CNC machines (mills and lathes) to perform various machining functions.
• Read and interpret G code and M code to understand tool paths, speeds, and feeds. Perform dry runs and make necessary offsets or program edits at the controller to ensure part accuracy.
• Read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints using geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD T).
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, attachments, and accessories.
• Perform first-article and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges to maintain tolerances as tight as plus or minus 0.0005.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to optimize cycle times and tool life.

• 3-5+ years of experience in CNC machining within a production environment.
• Must be able to read and edit G code manually. Experience with Haas, Fanuc, or Mazak controls is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in shop math, including geometry and trigonometry.
• Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO 9001 or AS 9100) is a major plus.
• High school diploma; technical degree or CNC certification preferred.
