Job Summary
Primary responsibilities for the Production Supervisor are to coordinate and direct the daily activities in manufacturing and resolve quality issues to ensure a quality product is delivered to the customer in a timely manner. Other duties include coordination with other departments to satisfy customer needs for product and resolution of defective product issues.

Essential Job Functions- Supervise and coordinate work activities of personnel, and organize and monitor workflow.
- Manage the daily production schedules in all of card manufacturing.
- Communicate maintenance issues to Production Manager and Maintenance Department to ensure timely repair of machinery.
- Review and answer issues concerning quality or functionality of product.
- Track and review waste from production process to ensure efficient material use. Complete detailed production reports consisting of a daily shift summary and data entry of completed production.
- Complete basic human resource duties such as time keeping (payroll), vacation approvals and employee evaluations.
- Resolve personnel issues by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions and recommending action.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by training and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures, including safety and quality standards.
- Train and mentor production staff to enhance skills and efficiency.
- Perform these and other duties as assigned by Production Manager or other appropriate management personnel.
- Work extended hours as needed to meet customer needs.
Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
Associate's degree is preferred.
