Production Supervisor (Beverage Manufacturing)

What You’ll Do
  • Direct Shift Operations:
    Oversee automated batching, filling, and packaging lines to consistently meet daily beverage production goals safely and efficiently.
  • Coach & Develop:
    Maintain high floor visibility, deliver hands‑on machine training, evaluate employee performance, and foster a positive, accountable team culture.
  • Drive Operational Excellence:
    Manage line changeovers (bottle sizes, packaging formats, coding), troubleshoot mechanical issues, and direct maintenance support.
  • Champion Safety & Quality:
    Maintain strict compliance with GMPs, SQF, HACCP, and LOTO standards while actively promoting a proactive safety‑first work environment.
  • Reporting & Tracking:
    Review daily operator logs and complete end‑of‑shift reports tracking output, mechanical failures, material waste, and attendance.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent (must be 18+ years old).
  • Hands‑on supervisory experience in high-speed, automated manufacturing or packaging settings.
  • strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality assurance, and workplace safety protocols (GMP, HACCP, SQF, LOTO).
  • Outstanding communication, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Physical capability to stand for 6+ hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work comfortably in a non-climate‑controlled warehouse setting.
  • Full availability to work variable shifts in a 24/7 environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

salary: $68,000 - $85,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Manage shift operations for safe, efficient beverage production.
  • Coordinate line employee schedules and monitor batching, filling, and packaging.
  • Maintain high floor visibility, provide hands‑on operator training, evaluate performance, and direct maintenance for line issues.
  • Enforce company policies and monitor changeovers to ensure correct raw materials, packaging formats, and coding are used.
  • Review operator reports for accuracy in raw material usage, waste, QA, and sanitation.
  • Complete daily end‑of‑shift reports on mechanical failures, production counts, attendance, and line efficiency.
  • Respond to emergencies, accidents, or employee issues, communicating clearly with management and HR.
  • Promote a safety culture and immediately report hazards or equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintain effective communication across teams and maintain a clean workspace adhering to GMPs, SQF, HACCP, and LOTO standards.
  • Maintain organized, legible documentation and ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations.
  • Participate in continuous job and safety training, and perform other duties as assigned.
