Inventory & Transaction Clerk 3rd shift

The Inventory Transactions Clerk is responsible for electronically identifying, verifying, and transacting all products produced by various departments. The role involves investigating, identifying, and correcting discrepancies between inventory system records and physical cycle counts, updating computer system transactions to account for all physical movement, consumption, and inventory production, ensuring all products moved are correctly identified and quantified, and handling the biological activity of all transacted products to designated locations.

Additional quality control responsibilities are required.

• Reconcile daily production and materials movements to contribute to 98% or greater inventory accuracy
• Serve as the shop floor key user of ERP and other inventory and production systems
• Perform inventory cycle counts daily and report data to the material control department before the end of the shift
• Perform quality checks on stored inventory and discard inventory that does not meet the company’s standards
• Maintain and update records
• Prepare reports on price lists, inventory balance, and shortages
• Research the accuracy of product details and test new products
• Other various tasks as assigned

• Good understanding of inventory control and transactions

• Must understand and follow all departmental safety rules
• Understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Have or obtain a forklift license
• ISO sections about the position

• RF Scanner
• Forklifts
• Bar coding equipment

• Must be able to speak, read/comprehend, and write in English
• Capacity to work overtime as needed
• Excellent computer skills with the aptitude to learn complex ERP and other systems (Oracle)
• Prior SAP or Oracle experience preferred
• Have or obtain a forklift certification/license
• Excellent communication skills
• Inventory management experience
• Knowledgeable in manufacturing bills of materials and packaging specifications
• Must be a team player and take direction well

Standing, sitting, walking (up to continuously); speaking/verbal communication; bend/stoop, twist neck and torso (frequently); reach, hold, grasp, push, pull, lift/carry raw material, finished product, tools and machinery up to 50 pounds (frequently). Work indoors and outdoors; exposure to temperatures commensurate with outdoor seasonal temperatures.
