Outside Sales Rep for East and Northeast Territory Salary + Commissions DOE
Electrical connector manufacturer requires an outside sales representative to cover rail and transit customers with some overlap into the military customers. Travel will be required for face-to-face visits and customer development. Some electrical knowledge would be helpful, but not required. Any background with electrical connectors is a huge benefit.
Responsibilities- Provide a more direct interface for our products and solutions alongside the traditional agent-distributor model.
- Work and develop our distributors, end customers and OEMs in targeted high potential industries through a strategic approach.
- Actively travel the assigned East and Northeast territory to meet with customers, discuss evolving needs and assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them.
- Take ownership in managing your territory and act responsively like a business owner.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing resources to our sales channels on customer requests, service, and technical questions.
- Effective communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Strong relationship-building and relationship management skills.
- Ability to build trust through honesty, integrity and follow-through.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to avoid potential problems.

- Base Salary – Determined on experience.
