Job Description:

The Las Vegas Team requires additional technical support, specifically a Mechanic to assist in their successful progress.

Key Responsibilities Proficiency in basic principles of mechanical troubleshooting and repair (able to perform the task with no supervision)
Knowledge of the basic principles of (has had training, but has not proven proficiency and sometimes requires supervision of task):

Inspection and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment

Mechanical Installation of facility machinery

Root cause analysis and counter measure

Product quality analysis

Preventative maintenance process of facility machinery

Operation monitoring of facility machinery

Basic equipment fabrication

Fabrication of repair parts and solutions

Troubleshooting and repair of:

Optical Sortation Crushers and Screeners Compressed Air and Dryers Organic Removal Systems Metal Remove (Fe and Non Fe)
Conveyance Create and ensure environment of safety for self and others

Complete daily maintenance and repair logs Maintain a clean work area Maintain and secure work tools

Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements High School Diploma/GED preferred

Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively

Team player, able to lead and contribute to a team effort

Excellent communication and people skills

Analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred

Able to work safely and efficiently

Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics preferred

As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Perform mechanical work including changing bearings, belts, and idler pulleys on trough-style conveyors

Clean and replace pneumatic valves on optical sorting machines; maintain organized work area Communicate equipment issues with mechanics and supervisors across shifts

Conduct PM and repairs on bucket elevators, screw conveyors, forklifts, front-end loaders, and sweepers

Install facility machinery as needed.

Welding and small fabrication to do repairs around the facility

What You Bring to the Table

Experience with Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement initiatives

Electronic experience preferred

Strong experience with mechanical conveyors
