Plumbing Install Lead Technician

Overview

We are looking for a Residential Lead Plumbing Installer. The successful candidate should be able to work efficiently, have great attention to detail, be organized, and perform in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position and includes rotating on-call responsibilities. This position has high earning potential, pays by piece rate, and is eligible for commissions on any upsells.

• Install water heaters, boilers, water supply lines, drain and sewer lines, gas lines, and other residential plumbing systems and equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and local codes.
• Maintain jobsite safety, organization, and team productivity.
• Use various plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, monometers, etc.).
• Demonstrate respect and clear communication with clients about work performed and recommendations for repairs or replacement.
• Lead and mentor plumbing apprentices by providing training, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
• Document details on all calls including estimates and recommendations.
• Complete all tasks per company quality and safety standards.

• 2+ years of residential plumbing installation experience
• Experience as a residential plumber
• Experience with re-pipes, drain/sewer systems, water heaters, and residential plumbing installations
• Knowledge of boiler piping, circulator pumps, expansion tanks, and zone valves preferred
• Proficient with PEX, copper, PVC, ABS, and cast iron piping
• Knowledge of local plumbing and mechanical codes
• Journeyman license is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to work cohesively with team members, apprentices, and management
• Strong communication and professionalism with customers and team members

Pay Range: $80,000 - $150,000 USD
