Position Summary:
** Please only apply if you have experience in preventative maintenance of heavy equipment and can accurately complete fuel logs and timecards!**
The Fuel & Lube Technician Assistant supports the Fuel & Lube Driver with fueling, greasing, and basic preventative maintenance of heavy equipment. This is a hands‑on, in the field role suited for individuals who are mechanically inclined, safety‑focused, and eager to learn.
Daily Responsibilities:- Fuel all equipment and accurately log gallons and machine hours
- Grease fittings and ensure all points accept grease
- Blow out air and cab filters; inspect condition
- Perform daily equipment inspections with photos uploaded to Tenna
- Report any equipment damage or repair needs immediately in Tenna
- Maintain a clean, organized fuel truck and safe work environment
- Load and unload parts and supplies
- Accurately complete fuel logs and timecards with clear, descriptive entries
- Communicate effectively and follow direction from the Fuel & Lube Driver
- Follow all state and federal laws while maintaining constant awareness of your surroundings. Take necessary precautions to prevent hazards or obstructions with workers, equipment, utility lines, and the public.
- Sample oil, transmission fluid, hydraulic, and coolant
- Drain and replace engine oil and filters
- Log service hours and inspection results -
- Record completed service in Tenna with detailed notes and photos
This is an entry-level role with potential for growth in equipment service.
Career paths include:- Fuel & Lube Driver (CDL training support may be available)
- Shop Mechanic - Shop-based roles in parts and PM management.

- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass random drug testing
- Punctual and reliable attendance
- Paid Holidays:
You will receive 8 paid holidays per year. - 401(k):
You will be eligible to participate in the company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan after 1 year of employment. - Insurance:
You will be eligible for company insurance benefits following the completion of your 60-day probationary period. - Vacation:
You will receive 40 hours of paid vacation annually, available after successfully completing the 60-day probationary period.
