Program Supervisor - Part Time Temporary

• Part-Time/Temporary Position – This position is a part time/temporary position and DOES NOT include health or medical benefits. Hours for this position will not exceed 938 per calendar year.
• Pay Considerations – The hourly pay for this position is $16.00.
• Work Schedule – Work hours vary seasonally, averaging approximately 19 hours per week during the off-season and increasing to 40 or more hours per week during the summer season (May–September). You must be able to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, overtime, standby and holidays. Hours will not exceed 935 per calendar year.
• Work Location – Multiple recreational centers across North Las Vegas. Applicants should indicate their preferred location using the dropdown menu above.

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for development and instruction for a variety of specialized programs and is responsible for performance of assigned lead program specialist duties. The full job description can be found here:

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two (2) years of training or experience in Recreation, Physical Education, or closely related acceptable field and one (1) year as Program Specialist with the City of North Las Vegas.
• Or Three (3) years of training or experience in Recreation, Physical Education, or closely related acceptable field.

• Must possess a valid Nevada state driver’s license/Identification Credential or have the ability to obtain, and maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Must possess a Standard First Aid and CPR Certificate within two weeks of hire prior to performing the essential functions of position. NLS will provide training.
• Must possess a Clark County Health Card (Food Handler Card) within thirty (30) days of date of hire.
