Airgas is hiring for a Union CDL A Driver in North Las Vegas. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. We are looking for you.

• As the "face of Airgas", safely and efficiently deliver compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company provided tractor trailer, straight, or box truck.
• Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders & supplies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain courteous and professional relationships with customers.
• Make deliveries in a timely manner; safely strap and unstrap cylinders.
• Make deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart; position is labor-intensive and requires frequent vehicle exits.
• Interact with customers frequently during deliveries.

• Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT and Airbrake endorsements. Hazmat is REQUIRED; candidates must currently have Hazmat.
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last 3 years; or a combination of one traffic conviction and one at-fault accident in the last 3 years.
• No driving while under the influence within the last seven years.
• Ability to work in a drug-free environment.
• Be able to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with assistance.
• One year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years, or proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of CDL A experience.
