Rock Yard CDL Drivers

Our Rock Yard CDL Drivers are integral to our Customer Service Delivery to Residential & Business customers. Drivers deliver rock & soil material to neighborhoods, construction sites, and commercial businesses. Safe driving and safe loading/unloading are essential. Product delivery is the final step in a happy customer experience, and our Rock Yard (CDL) drivers accomplish that.

This safety‑sensitive position requires pride in providing quality customer service. Make deliveries in a safe and timely manner.

• Follows operations standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on‑time service
• Adheres to policies in operations techniques and material usage
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Loads and unloads rock/soil material
• Observes road rules and company policies
• Delivers decorative rock and soil amendments

• Ability to climb up and down from a dump truck
• Can correctly tarp or adjust tarp on the tub if needed
• Strong planning skills to think ahead in short‑ and long‑term ranges
• Organizes and manages multiple priorities
• Analyses problems and resolves them at strategic and functional levels
• Interacts positively and is a strong team player

• Follows directions and works independently to achieve goals and complete tasks
• Is able to work outdoors in all types of weather
• Suggested minimum 1 year of CDL experience

• Class A or B license
• Must provide a clean 3‑year DMV record
• Clean background check
• Provides DOT‑required documents
• Effective and relevant work experience in dump truck deliveries
• Honest and hard‑working
• Can work long hours (seasonal overtime available) in all types of weather conditions
• U.S. work authorization

Daily activities include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, simple hand grasping, pushing & pulling, and lifting 0–60 lbs. Constant exposure to extremes in temperature; labor intensive.
