AI Platform Engineer, Senior
As an AI Platform Engineer, you will develop user‑focused AI and machine learning solutions that accelerate national security through modernized systems. The role requires building end‑to‑end solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and future enhancements.
Responsibilities- Design, build, and operate large‑scale production systems.
- Integrate systems across diverse technologies and platforms.
- Engineer cloud solutions on AWS.
- Develop in Python with Kubernetes administration and deployment patterns.
- Implement and scale observability solutions including APM, Open Telemetry, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Lead technical initiatives and influence organizational change.
- Assist in developing technical policies and governance frameworks.
- BS degree and 12+ years of software engineering experience, or 16+ years without a degree.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- Experience in large‑scale production systems, system integration, cloud engineering (AWS), Python programming.
- Hands‑on Kubernetes, observability, APM, Open Telemetry, Grafana, Prometheus.
- Leadership in technical initiatives and influencing change.
- Experience with AI inference technologies such as vLLM or LiteLLM, agentic frameworks like Lang Chain, vector databases and embedding systems, high‑performance or distributed computing.

Salary range: $86,800.00 to $ USD (annualized).
