Working directly with the owner and clinical leadership, you will have the opportunity to shape how our clinic operates and scales. Your work will help create the staffing, processes, and financial foundation needed to expand access to services for children and families.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, developing people, solving problems, and seeing their work make a measurable difference.

Responsibilities
  • Manage schedule utilization with scheduling staff by filling openings, addressing cancellations, managing waitlists, and following up on referrals.
  • Lead and develop staff through clear communication, coaching, and supervision to support strong performance and consistent adherence to SOPs, handbook policies, and clinic protocols.
  • Take a hands‑on role in financial oversight, including budgets, collections, billing follow-through, payroll review, expenses, and cash flow. Review profit‑and‑loss reports and recommend improvements.
  • Oversee administrative staff and daily workflows to support efficient operations and responsive communication with families.
  • Coordinate human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Improve SOPs and systems, coordinate safety and compliance efforts with clinical leadership, and manage priority projects that support growth.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), make operational decisions within established authority, and keep the owner informed of results, priorities, and concerns.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, healthcare administration, human resources, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in business operations, staff supervision, and team development.
  • Practical financial management experience, including budgeting, financial reporting, expense management, and collections.
  • Experience implementing systems and managing organizational growth or change preferred.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for tracking, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback, address performance concerns, and support consistent follow‑through.
  • Healthcare or therapy practice experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the owner and clinical leadership.
  • Willingness to take a hands‑on role in a small, growing clinic.
Why Join Sensory Kids?
  • Help shape the next stage of an established, growing pediatric clinic.
  • Work directly with the owner and clinical leaders, with a meaningful voice in operational decisions.
  • Build systems and develop a team whose work makes a difference for children and families.
  • See the impact of your leadership through measurable business results.
  • Earn performance bonuses tied to clearly established goals.
