Logistics Coordinator

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage the order fulfillment operations for a large organization.  This person will support the order fulfillment and shipping process, including coordinating orders with third-party warehouses, ensuring customer requirements are met, and serving as a key liaison between internal teams and warehouse partners.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, comfortable working in multiple computer systems, and able to effectively communicate with both internal stakeholders and external warehouse personnel.

Key Responsibilities

+ Process customer orders and transmit order information to external warehouse partners.

+ Gather, review, and distribute shipping documentation as needed.

+ Coordinate and complete order picking and shipping activities within the proprietary software.

+ Verify customer requirements and ensure expectations are met, obtaining appropriate approvals when exceptions arise.

+ Collaborate with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and other internal departments to support operational needs.

+ Request and manage required documentation from various departments.

+ Investigate and escalate warehouse issues, discrepancies, and customer concerns.

+ Maintain and complete expiration date and inventory-related reporting.

+ Monitor order status and provide updates to stakeholders as needed.

+ Support departmental goals while contributing to a team-oriented work environment.

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Previous experience in order fulfillment, logistics, customer service, supply chain, or administrative operations experience.

+ Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.

+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately.

+ Experience working with warehouses, shipping documentation, or inventory processes is a plus.
