Line Cook

Field Day Brewing Co., the first and only brewery in North Liberty, IA is looking for experienced part-time Line Cooks to join our team.

As a Line Cook at Field Day Brewing Co., you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking food, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish. You'll work closely with the kitchen team to maintain a clean, organized workspace, and help manage food inventory. You'll also have the opportunity to share your knowledge of cooking techniques and contribute to a smooth, efficient kitchen environment.

Field Day Brewing Co. is the first and only brewing in North Liberty, IA, excited to reframe & disrupt the traditional view on breweries by bringing exciting opportunities paired with world-class beer. We brew everything from Hazy IPA’s, big and bold stouts, overly-fruited sours. While we don’t like pigeon-holing ourselves into one specific category, our 4 vessel, custom brewhouse and cereal cooker allows us to specialize in German and Czech lagers.

IE: the light & crispy stuff that is super sessionable.

In addition to our amazingly brewed beverages, we offer a full-service menu carefully constructed and prepared on-site by our amazing cooks.

Pay: $15- $22/ hour based on experience

Schedule: Part-time (15–25 hours per week). Must be available for evening shifts and weekends.

Job Responsibilities

• Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
• Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
• Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
• Exceptional communication skills- the ability to communicate clearly with the Chefs or highest management on the line.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
• Stand for long periods of time
• 1+ years of line cook experience
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
