Job Description

An experienced Head Housekeeper is required to manage a large, formal private residence in North Lincolnshire. This is a hands‑on role overseeing a team of full‑time housekeepers and coordinating with gardeners, maintenance staff, and contractors.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, discreet, personable, and experienced in running a similar high‑end property, ensuring the house is always maintained to an exceptional standard while remaining a welcoming family home.

• Managing and supervising the housekeeping team and rotas
• Overseeing daily, weekly, and seasonal cleaning schedules
• Caring for art, antiques, fine fabrics, and furnishings
• Managing inventories, purchasing, and household administration
• Liaising with contractors, maintenance, and security
• Organising shooting parties and preparing the house for family visits

• Proven Head Housekeeper experience in a similar private household
• Strong organisational and people‑management skills
• Excellent references and a history of long‑term employment
• Commitment to a long‑term role
• Confident driver is essential

• Full‑time: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday with alternate weekends)
• Salary: £40,000+ gross per annum
• Live‑in accommodation provided, rent‑free (council tax paid)
• Partners welcome; dependants considered
