As an MET technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Stripping and refitting mechanical, electrical, trim, and body components in line with manufacturer and BSI standards

• Carrying out full vehicle disassembly and reassembly as an experienced MET technician

• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults prior to repair

• Removing and refitting engines, subframes, suspension, steering, and braking systems

• Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently by a professional MET technician

• Completing job cards, damage reports, and repair documentation to a high standard

• Working closely with panel technicians, paint technicians, and estimators

• Maintaining workshop cleanliness and adhering to health & safety standards expected of a qualified MET technician

• Proven experience as an MET technician

• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle systems and repair methods

• Ability to work independently and as part of a bodyshop team

• ATA accreditation (desirable but not essential)
