Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team in North Little Rock, Arkansas. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing accounting tasks, administrative duties, and operational support in a detail oriented yet friendly office environment. This opportunity is ideal for someone seeking growth in their accounting career while contributing to a collaborative and adaptable workplace.

Responsibilities:

- Manage reception area and oversee conference room scheduling to ensure smooth operations.

- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and document deliveries efficiently.

- Organize and maintain filing systems, scan documents, and support general office organization.

- Process accounts payable invoices, match purchase orders, and verify supporting documentation.

- Assist with accounts receivable functions, including data entry, payment posting, and preparing customer statements.

- Reconcile daily cash receipts, credit card transactions, and bank deposits accurately.

- Maintain financial records, ledgers, and journals to ensure data integrity.

- Support month-end closing activities by preparing basic reports and documentation.

- Assist with processing employee expense reports and resolving vendor inquiries.

- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address billing discrepancies and documentation needs. Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in Accounting or Business is preferred.

- At least 1-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

- Familiarity with accounting software such as Quick Books or Net Suite is a plus.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in work.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.

- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality.

- Customer service orientation and a detail-oriented approach to support team collaboration.
