Under the direction of the Inventory Control Manager, the Logistics and Campus Services Specialist support warehouse, inventory, mailroom, surplus, and campus delivery operations. This position receives, processes, stores, tracks, and delivers supplies, parcels, USPS mail, surplus materials, and special-order merchandise to departments and campus locations while providing responsive customer service and maintaining accurate records in accordance with college procedures and applicable guidelines.

Duties
  • Coordinate the receipt, processing, storage, return, delivery, and distribution of supplies, merchandise, parcels, USPS mail, and other materials across departments and campus locations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, process inter‑departmental transfers, reorder supplies as needed, and maintain accurate logs, records, and monthly reports for warehouse, mail, postage, and surplus activities.
  • Provide timely and professional customer service to faculty, staff, departments, vendors, USPS representatives, and other campus partners regarding mail, delivery, inventory, and supply needs.
  • Research and resolve concerns related to mail, parcel, supply, and material distribution to ensure efficient and accurate service delivery.
  • Support fixed asset and surplus processes, including counting, recording, posting, disposition, bundling, shipping, and coordinating removal of surplus items with appropriate departments.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and coordinate maintenance for mailroom equipment and related systems; process certified mail, bulk mailings, library/science kit mailings, and other specialized mailing needs.
  • Deliver supplies, mail, parcels, and materials to departments and campuses; maintain assigned work areas, equipment, and vehicles in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
  • Serve as back‑up for warehouse and mailroom functions as needed and assist with campus event set‑up, tear‑down, Physical Plant support, and other operational needs.
  • Maintain regular, reliable, and non‑disruptive attendance while fostering collegial, professional, and effective working relationships with others.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental and college goals.

Rate of Pay: $16.13 hourly
* Higher compensation may be considered based on qualifications directly related to position.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of applicable work experience.
  • Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Arkansas Division of Higher Education.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Experience with mailroom operations, postage systems, inventory control, surplus tracking, or campus delivery services preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of warehouse, mailroom, inventory, delivery, surplus, and basic asset‑tracking procedures.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn and use mail metering, inventory, reporting, and related business systems.
  • Knowledge of campus departments, locations, directory resources, and applicable USPS or mailing procedures.
