Senior Project Scheduler | Utility Infrastructure | Multi-Billion-Dollar Capital Project
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Scheduler to support the execution of a multi-billion-dollar capital project within the utility industry
.
This is an opportunity to work on a major infrastructure program, partnering directly with project management, engineering, construction, and contractor teams to develop and maintain the schedules driving successful project execution.
What You’ll Be Doing- Develop and maintain detailed Primavera P6 project schedules
- Build and manage integrated engineering, procurement, and construction schedules
- Establish project baselines, milestones, critical paths, and WBS structures
- Perform critical path and schedule variance analysis
- Track planned, actual, and earned project progress
- Analyze schedule performance and identify potential delays
- Review and validate contractor schedules and schedule updates
- Monitor contractor progress against contractual milestones
- Develop schedule forecasts and provide completion-date projections
- Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation/recovery strategies
- Support schedule change management and impact analysis
- Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates
- Work closely with Project Managers and field teams to ensure schedule accuracy
- 4+ years of project scheduling / project controls experience
- Utility capital project experience required
- Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6
- Understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
- Experience analyzing critical path, float, schedule variance, and progress
- Experience reviewing and challenging contractor schedules
- Experience working within EPC project environments
- Ability to communicate schedule risks and impacts to project leadership
- Experience with Acumen Fuse, Microsoft Project, and schedule risk analysis
- PMI and/or AACE International certifications
- Experience supporting complex, multi-year utility programs
