POSITION SUMMARY
The 504 / ALE / RTI Designee & Building Test Facilitator at North Little Rock Middle School serves a critical leadership role dedicated to student support, regulatory compliance, and academic assessment integrity. Reporting to the Building Administrator, this professional leads campus Section 504 operations by conducting all middle school conferences, including annual reviews, new referrals, placements, manifestation determinations, and placement evaluations while distributing accommodation plans to staff, onboarding new teachers on 504 regulations, and assisting the district coordinator, with Day Treatment and Alternative School needs.
Simultaneously, they manage Alternative Learning Environment (ALE) placements, direct the multi-tiered Response to Intervention (RTI/MTSS) framework, update student transcripts and schedules in eSchool, and serve as Building Test Facilitator to oversee all state and district standardized testing logistics, security, and accommodation setups. This position requires a valid Arkansas educator credential, deep knowledge of educational laws and testing protocols, and exceptional organizational skills to seamlessly collaborate with families, faculty, and district leaders.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Schedule and lead all 504 conferences, including annual reviews, new referrals, placements, and manifestation reviews, including middle school alternative/day treatment students.
- Distribute 504 plans to teachers, explain accommodations, and onboard new staff members on 504 regulations.
- Travel to hold 504 meetings at the Alternative School or Day Treatment facility when required, and assist the District 504 Coordinator as needed.
- Serve as the Building Test Facilitator to plan, schedule, and run all state and district testing, train proctors, and ensure test security, including middle school alternative/day treatment students.
- Make sure students with 504 plans, IEPs, or EL services receive their required accommodations during testing, including middle school alternative/day treatment students.
- Keep student transcripts, course schedules, and program tags accurate and up-to-date in eSchool.
- Coordinate Alternative Learning Environment (ALE) placements and help lead the Response to Intervention (RTI) team to track student progress.
- Distribute accommodation plans to teachers of students
- Meet with new staff to review regulations concerning 504 plans
- Update transcripts and schedules in eschool
- Assist the 504 coordinator with day treatment and other duties
