Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in product design and development. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Creo, mechanical design, and New Product Development (NPD). The role involves designing electromechanical products, developing 3D models and drawings, supporting prototype builds, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Design mechanical components and assemblies for new product development.
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using Creo Parametric.
- Design plastic, sheet metal, machined, and casting components.
- Support electromechanical products and enclosure design.
- Apply DFM/DFA principles to improve manufacturability and cost.
- Perform basic engineering calculations, GD&T application, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Support prototype development, testing, and design validation activities.
- Work closely with electronics, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality teams.
- Resolve design issues during prototype and production stages.
- Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs, and release packages.
- 2–3 years of experience in mechanical product design.
- Proficiency in Creo Parametric for 3D modeling and assembly design.
- Understanding of New Product Development (NPD) processes.
- Knowledge of plastic part design and injection molding.
- Experience in sheet metal, casting, and machined component design.
- Good understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing processes.
- Basic knowledge of structural, thermal, or flow simulation.
- Familiarity with prototype development and product validation.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Experience in electromechanical product development is preferred.
- Exposure to PLM/PDM systems and engineering change management is an added advantage.
