Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures including stripping, refinishing, and burnishing
- Utilize equipment for cleaning large floor areas
- Follow proper procedures for carpet cleaning including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming
- Operate floor care equipment as assigned
- Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types
- Disinfect floor care equipment after each use
- Handle cleaning solutions safely and follow all safety precautions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred
- Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
- Ability to follow safety procedures due to physical risks
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs frequently
- Reliable attendance and punctuality at varying times of day/night
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Criminal background check required
