The Bridge Way is seeking a talented Registered Nurse to work for a TEMPORARY APPOINTMENT (duration is 14 weeks). This position is a POSITION
. The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care for psychiatric patients, including child, adolescent, adults, and chemical dependency patients using the nursing process.

Duties include:

assess mental health needs, develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan and evaluate nursing care; administer and/or monitor the effects and side effects of medications and treatments ordered by a physician; ensure safety and provide milieu management and crisis intervention strategies.

NOTE:

Candidates employed by any UHS facility within the last 6 months are not eligible for this position.

Job Specifics:

• Current license to practice nursing in the State of Arkansas.
• Current CPR/BLS and CPI certifications (offered onsite).
• Preferred: one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5‑65+.

This is a TEMPORARY 13-WEEK ASSIGNMENT
. The first week will be orientation. Then work (3) 12‑hour shifts per week for a total of 12 weeks. Day shifts: 6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.;
Night shift: 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
