Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Director of Assessment and Referral, the Intake RN ensures smooth and orderly admissions into the hospital. The Intake RN receives incoming admission inquiry calls, assesses patients for admission, and makes appropriate referrals. They streamline the patient experience by completing necessary assessments and medical documentation to move the patient through the admission process to the unit. The RN is responsible for assisting with the achievement of patient outcomes in accordance with the hospital’s mission.
ShiftSchedule
- 1 position for full‑time night shifts, 9 p.m.–7 a.m., Monday–Friday.
- 1 position for weekends, 6:30 p.m.–7 a.m. (three shifts).

Education, experience and certifications:
- Current RN nursing license.
- Preferred: two years clinical experience in a psychiatric setting.
- Handle with Care and CPR required (offered onsite).
Total education, vocational training and experience:
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required.
- Preferred: minimum of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility.
