The Opportunity

River City is seeking a highly organized, relationship-focused Major Account Coordinator to manage the day-to-day needs of several of our largest and most important customers.

This is an important client-facing position within our company. You will serve as a primary point of contact for assigned major accounts and help ensure that customer requests, orders, quotes, proofs, inventory needs, deadlines, and communications are handled accurately and professionally.

This is not primarily a cold-calling or new-business sales position
.

Success in this role comes from taking care of customers, building strong relationships, staying organized, following through on commitments, solving problems, and making sure projects move smoothly from beginning to end.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for several of River City’s major customer accounts.
  • Respond to customer emails, questions, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate customer projects and orders from initial request through completion and delivery.
  • Prepare and send quotes and estimates.
  • Enter and process customer orders through our MIS/order-management system.
  • Coordinate artwork, proofs, revisions, and customer approvals.
  • Monitor projects throughout production and communicate updates, schedules, and deadlines.
  • Work closely with internal production teams and outside vendors to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor customer inventory levels and proactively prepare reorder quotes when items are running low.
  • Help identify and resolve issues before they affect the customer.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships by learning each customer’s business, preferences, and ongoing needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in account coordination, customer service, client services, project coordination, account management, or a similar business-to-business role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable follow-through.
  • Professional and confident communication with customers and coworkers.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other business software.
  • Ability to work independently while also being part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work full-time from our North Little Rock office.

The employee currently managing these accounts is retiring at the end of the year.

The person selected for this position will have the opportunity to work alongside our current Major Account Coordinator during a transition period to learn our customers, processes, systems, and account requirements before assuming full responsibility.
