As a Security Officer Armed Response Driver in North Little Rock, AR

What You ll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a food and beverage distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, perimeter, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access to the location, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation as directed, and maintain accurate logs of visitors, vehicles, incidents, and patrol activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
- Maintain professional conduct while carrying authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have at least four years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
