The Bridge Way is currently seeking a Food Service Worker to join our team!
The Food Service Worker performs a variety of duties related to the preparation and serving of food to patients, staff and visitors. Completes routine and special sanitation duties. As a representative of The Bridge Way, all comments, attitudes, actions, and behaviors have a direct effect on the Facility’s image and perceptions of quality service. Interaction with patients, family members, physicians, referral sources, affiliating schools, visitors, etc.
must be in a manner that is friendly, supportive, courteous, respectful, cooperative, and professional. This behavior should promote an atmosphere of teamwork, which is congruent with facility standards and guidelines to promote positive relations.

Requirements:
Licenses or
Certifications:
CPR and Handle with Care to be obtained within two (2) weeks of date of hire.
Total education, vocational training and experience: High school diploma or equivalent. One year previous experience in a food service setting.
Skills and Abilities:
- Adaptability to perform a variety of duties and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to read and follow direction.
- Ability to add and subtract.
- Ability to interact in a positive manner and communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, supervisor and other hospital employees.
- Must have stable emotional makeup to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
