Shift: 2nd Shift (M/F, 2:30pm - 10:30pm)

What You Will Do
  • Operate a forklift or other powered material handling equipment (MHE) to move and stock merchandise; safe and efficient operation of the vehicle required.
  • May be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties.
  • Perform order fulfillment duties: review and prioritize available orders, determine stock requirements, maintain inventory levels, physically pick in full case, pack orders in ALPS, replenish, stock, audit and verify picked orders, prepare completed orders for shipping using SAP and RF scanner as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) – required.
  • 1 year experience in a warehouse environment – preferred.
  • Must read, count accurately, do simple math and write legibly.
  • Ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety.
  • Familiarity with MHE required.
  • Must meet OSHA and company requirements for MHE training and certification.
  • Obtain L’Oreal forklift certification.
Essential

Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Bend, twist, and stand for up to 10 hours per day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Equipment
  • Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other powered equipment.
  • Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
  • Inspect and perform minor maintenance on assigned equipment daily.
  • Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
Quality
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
  • Report quality variances.
Receiving / Putaway / Loading
  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
  • Efficiently stack and store merchandise in appropriate areas.
  • Move product from staging or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
Order Picking
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring exact quantity and type.
  • Pick and pack, including assembly of products in less than full case lots or detailed picking.
  • Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
  • Perform sortation duties: lifting cartons, palletizing, printing pallet tickets, moving freight to the dock, using SAP and RF as needed.
  • Perform special projects/tasks as assigned.
  • Support and abide by the company’s safety program and all safety initiatives, policies, and procedures.
Safety, Housekeeping, Security
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • Assist in maintaining warehouse security.
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
  • Comply with OSHA and other applicable standards; report issues to management.
Inventory
  • Keep appropriate records and reports for tight inventory control and security.
  • Assist in physical inventories, cycle counting, and RTS.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation.
Communication
  • Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions.
