Customer Service Representative

Job Overview

A Customer Service Representative at MKS Instruments will partner with customer support to provide excellent communication to external customers and report to the Supervisor, Customer Relations.

• Create and process RMAs, Sales Orders, and Quotes.
• Engage with customers in a friendly tone to resolve concerns and questions.
• Work independently with minimal oversight and proactively manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborate closely with Field Sales Engineers and with Calibration/Production Team.

• Knowledge of CRM systems and practices.
• ERP experience, preferably SAP, and proficiency with Outlook and other Office applications.
• Continuous improvement skills (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
• Minimum of 5 years experience in customer service.
• Strong people skills and active listening; ability to work as a self‑starter.
• AA degree is preferred but not required.

• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs periodically.
• Ready to perform any other duties or tasks assigned by management.
