Systems Engineering Manager; Aerospace

Electric Power Systems (EPS) designs and delivers advanced energy storage systems powering the next generation of flight and mobility. We're looking for a Systems Engineering Manager to lead our systems engineering team through requirements, integration, and certification-driven development on next-gen aerospace programs.

This is a strong fit for engineers who've worked in certification environments governed by standards like DO-160, DO-178, and DO-254 - you don't need to check every box, but if that's your world, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team of systems engineers through requirements capture, traceability, validation, and verification
• Own systems safety analysis (FHA, PSSA, FTA, FMECA, and related methods)
• Drive system-level integration across mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces
• Keep programs on schedule and budget while safeguarding technical integrity
• Support certification engagement with regulators and customers
• Manage, coach, and grow a team of systems engineers

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
• 5+ years of aerospace systems engineering experience
• 1+ years of supervisory or people management experience
• Experience managing certification-driven development efforts
• Strong grounding in aerospace systems engineering standards and processes

Bonus Points

• Experience with DO-160, DO-178, and/or DO-254
• Familiarity with DOORS, JAMA, or similar requirements management tools
• Background with lithium battery or electric propulsion systems
• Experience supporting TSO, STC, or Experimental certification programs
