The RoleTwin Rivers Automation is seeking a highly motivated Controls / Assembly Technician to contribute to the control systems wiring / machine assembly of turn-key automated equipment utilizing state-of-the-art robotics, machine vision, and other industrial technologies.
The Technician is responsible for building the entire machine from Bill of Material and prints to final acceptance by customer.
This is a high variety position and not a production style manufacturing role. Requires a motivated, self starter, flexible individual.
The employee will work independently and with cross-functional teams throughout the entire lifecycle of the project. They will work closely with the Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering and Fabrication Teams.
Responsibilities- Electrical and Mechanical Assembly of custom designed automation machines.
- Assembly of robotics, PLC's, HMI's, sensors, pneumatics to machine base along with conveyors and fabricated hardware.
- Understanding technical BOM (bill of materials)
- Assembly of machine to power-on, debug, process fine tuning to validation.
- Maintain proper documentation
- Meeting all safety and customer acceptance standards.
- Two year technology degree (or 2-3 years experience)
- Experience wiring control panels and assembly of robotic cells.
- Ability read and interpret blue prints, engineering drawings and specifications
- Understands basic Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD & T)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changes in the work requests or environment
