Job Summary
Production Assembly and Support team member responsible for assembling, packaging, and preparing printed materials for shipment. The role requires physical tasks, quality inspection, and adherence to safety and attendance standards. The employer reserves the right to change or assign other duties to this position.
Responsibilities- Apply labels, cut, wrap, and tape products using foot controls and other equipment.
- Pack products in boxes, seal them, and inspect for quality defects.
- Stack and transport printed materials at various stages on pallets and delivery tables.
- Read and follow specific job instructions to produce orders according to specifications.
- Maintain attendance according to facility guidelines and collaborate with co‑workers, supervisors, and vendors.
- Float across departments and assist where needed.
- Follow safety rules, procedures, and standards.
- Duties may be performed standing most of the time; occasional sitting is allowed.
- Ability to read, interpret, and decipher written instructions from work orders, parts orders, safety regulations, and operating procedures.
- Effective verbal communication with employees.
- Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and understanding of units of measure.
- Common‑sense application of instructions delivered in written or oral form.
- Regularly remain in a stationary position while working.
- Frequent operation of machinery and handling of printed products.
- Ability to move throughout the facility often.
- Capacity to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 pounds or more.
- Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
1st Shift;
Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm.
Hourly rate: $16.00–$18.00, depending on qualifications and experience. Compensation is part of a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
