Receive equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, and tools into the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard and verify that incoming items match requisitions or invoices by counting, sorting, or weighing articles;
Store materials in designated locations in an organized manner to maintain accurate stock records and facilitate efficient retrieval;
Issue materials, supplies, and tools to internal departments and workers as needed, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of requests;
Compile and maintain stock records, including quantities received, stored, and issued, to support accurate inventory management;
Operate gas or electric powered forklift trucks safely to move, stack, tier, load, and unload materials in and around the plant, warehouse, stockyard, and storage areas
