Your work environment

Within the "Electromagnetic Compatibility and Lightning" department, comprising 16 engineers serving the launcher systems activities, you will work in a stimulating environment.

You are the direct interface with Ariane Group's mechanical, electrical, and ground systems design offices, as well as with production units.

You are responsible for carrying out studies related to radio frequency environment, ESD, lightning, and internal electromagnetic compatibility issues for launcher systems throughout the development and production cycle.

Your missions

• Define and manage requirements at the system, subsystem, and equipment level:
  Preliminary and detailed design of the system and subsystems.
• Follow up on subcontracting.
• Carry out and monitor integration, verification, and validation tasks.
• Ensure system coherence on electrical and electromagnetic issues.
• Contribute to the design with mechanical design offices.
• Perform electromagnetic and lightning calculations, tests, characterization, and performance of components of subsystems and the system.
• Monitor project progress (deliverables, schedule, costs, and quality).
• Present technical syntheses to internal and external clients.

Profile sought

• Education:
  
  Graduated from a type Bac+5 in Physics and Electromagnetism or equivalent.

• Experience:
  
  In addition to your education, at least 5 years of field experience in electromagnetism or electronic design is required.

• Technical skills:
• Electronics or Electromagnetism with a particular aptitude for numbers.
• System vision:
  Technical interest in system vision.

• Team spirit:
  An important value to work in project mode in a cooperative approach.

Some words about the site of Les Mureaux

Ideally located on the banks of the Seine to allow the departure by boat of Ariane 6 elements, the Les Mureaux site is the headquarters of Ariane Group and Arianespace.

It brings together more than 2,000 employees working on cutting-edge facilities serving our defense and civil activities. The site has a company restaurant, sports facilities, and a dynamic staff council with many associated associative sections and benefits.

A train connects Gare Saint-Lazare to Les Mureaux and a bus connects the station to the site. 2027 will see the arrival of EOLE (extension of RER

E), marking a new stop at La Défense.
