St. James Catholic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an engaging and developmentally appropriate instructional program that supports diverse learners and promotes academic achievement. This educator will perform all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Salary is commensurate with certification and years of service.

- BS/BA Degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- FDOE Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education (temporary or professional preferred).
- Experience in elementary education preferred.
- Must obtain catechetical certification through the Archdiocese of Miami Office of Catechesis within three years of hire.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong presentation skills with the use of instructional technologies.
- Proficiency in Google, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel;
PowerPoint a plus. - Excellent oral and written English-language communication skills, including a clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Fully committed to and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church, with knowledge of the basic tenets of the Catholic Church; experience in a Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Must maintain a professional demeanor.
- Ability to complete Safe Environment training and related background check.
