Obtain, confirm, and enter demographic, financial, and clinical information necessary for financial clearance of scheduled patient accounts.;
Verify insurance and confirm insurance eligibility of patient coverage benefits, notifying patient and referring physician in the event of failed eligibility.;
Obtain necessary authorizations, pre-certifications, and referrals.;
Notify patients of liabilities prior to date of service and collect funds.;
Serve as lead resource for lower-level Patient Services staff and promote a culture of compassion and care
