Senior Project Manager

J.L. Moore is a commercial general contracting and design-build firm located in North Olmsted, Ohio. Founded in 1973, we provide construction services to local, regional, and national clients. As we continue to experience successful growth, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with the experience and passion to lead project teams. This position will be located at our new office in North Olmsted, Ohio.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead teams in the design and construction of commercial projects ranging from $2 million to $10 million. Our work includes ground-up construction and renovations delivered through design-build, select-bid, and hard-bid methods. We are seeking a leader who can succeed in any delivery environment and take full ownership of project outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a driven, solutions-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented culture. This person will be a self-starter with strong attention to detail, disciplined follow-through, and the ability to build trust with clients, designers, and trade partners. As the primary client contact, you will have ultimate responsibility for schedule, budget, quality, and overall project success.

• Full accountability for project performance including schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Leadership of project teams including APMs, Superintendents, designers, and subcontractors.
• Mentoring and developing Assistant Project Managers into confident, independent PMs.
• Preconstruction collaboration and value creation on design-build projects.
• Disciplined execution and risk management on general contracting projects.
• Buyout, contract administration, cost control, and forecasting.
• Change management and proactive communication with owners and design partners.

• 7+ years of commercial construction PM experience on ground-up and renovation projects.
• Proven track record delivering $1M–$10M projects in design-build and hard-bid environments.
• Strong financial management and subcontractor leadership skills.
• Relationship-driven problem solver—not just a paper manager.
• Organized, decisive leader with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with MS Project, Procore, Smartsheet, and Bluebeam preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated strengths in planning, problem solving, and decision making.
