Wellness Nurse Manager

Starting rate: $30.00–$34.00 per hour

Week 1:
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Week 2:
Monday, Saturday, Sunday 7 pm–7 am

• Be a Superior Supervisor:
  In the absence of department heads, this position is in charge of the building, leading the Wellness team and other departments to provide quick, reliable, and person‑centered care.
• Be a Force on the Floor:
  As a good leader, be available to help with call lights, requests for assistance, and demonstrate a sense of urgency that puts residents’ needs first.
• Be a Diligent Documenter:
  Complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents accurately and efficiently, and file them correctly.
• Be a Compassionate Caregiver:
  Exemplify the core values, ensuring each interaction with a resident is professional, caring, and leaves the resident feeling safe and cared for.

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of employment.
• Thorough working knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of current medication regulation and law.
• Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to residents.
• Experience in hands‑on care of memory‑impaired residents is preferred, but not required.
• Experience with an electronic medical record (EMR) is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be physically active – standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move items up to 50 lbs and perform two‑person transfers.
• Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and aid after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.
