Merchandise/Warehouse Handler at Ashley | The Wellsville Group, North Olmsted, Ohio, United States.

As a Retail Merchandise/Warehouse Handler, you would be responsible for a variety of routine receiving, assembling, janitorial and general warehouse and maintenance tasks within our North Olmsted, Ohio retail showroom.

• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
• Attention to detail and solid time management
• Able to work independently and prioritize workload
• Able to lift, lower, push, or pull up to 75 lbs independently
• Mechanically inclined and able to assemble furniture using small hand tools
• Minimum requirement:
  High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in warehouse receiving or retail back room preferred

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks such as emptying the trash, vacuuming and mopping walkways, and cleaning restrooms.
• Receive and unload incoming product while inspecting for damages, loss or defects and confirming order accuracy.
• Assemble and prepare product for customer deliveries, showroom display, and location transfers.
• Assist customers with product pickups and drop offs, including loading and unloading as business needs require.
• Work closely with visual merchandising specialist to complete floor moves and special projects.

• Weekly Pay – This position starts at $16.00 per hour.
• Full Time Schedule – 5‑day work week; 9 AM – 5 PM.
