Junior Accountant

Factor Search is working in partnership with a leading Water Treatment Provider in Florida.

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support their accounting team with day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for an entry-level accounting professional looking to grow their skills in a collaborative environment while gaining hands‑on experience with general accounting functions and Florida-based compliance requirements.

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Assist with sales tax filings and other state‑related compliance as needed
• Prepare basic financial reports and schedules
• Support audits and respond to documentation requests
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Basic understanding of GAAP principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Competitive salary of $60,000-$65,000
